About

yyyokel is a writing operation covering AI search citation mechanics, parasite SEO infrastructure, and content distribution systems for operators and builders. It's also a running, honest build log — the side projects, tools, and dead domains that come out of actually testing the theories instead of just writing about them.

Not a first project, either — long enough doing this that "growth engineer" is really just the current word for it. That's the whole reason for treating shipped and dead projects the same way here: seen enough cycles to know most bets don't land, and that's not a reason to hide them.

What this site covers

The focus is specific: how LLMs decide what to cite, how content earns authority on platforms you don't own, and the structural signals that separate content that gets retrieved from content that disappears.

Posts cover both legitimate and grey-area tactics — framing is analytical. The goal is understanding how the system works, not endorsing every tactic in it.

Building

More irons in the fire, not fewer, better ones. Most side projects here are bets, not master plans — some turn into real, ongoing products, some stay small useful tools, some die and get reported as dead instead of quietly deleted from the list. The full index is at The Portfolio, linking every build with its real outcome — traffic numbers included, good and mostly-not-good alike.

Writing

All posts are at /writing. A few worth starting with (not "most-read" — nobody's reading much of anything here yet, see above):

If any of this — the writing or the build log — is interesting from a work or collaboration angle, DMs are open and actually read.
